After dark the old mill is lit up, the pool goes quiet and the fireflies come out over the cane. Guests have watched them from their deck.
On the farm
Stone ruins of the old plantation stand around the farm, and a trail marked in yellow runs through the jungle gully on the north side.
Mornings and evenings spent on the huge decks listening to the rustle of sugarcanes in the breeze was magical, as were evenings by the pool.
